I've recently done a rough sketch of my latest work, for fun and to try out some shiny pens I bought. It's of a fictional character of my own; Zachariyas Zenahriel Zahr, more developed. The tentative story behind him is he is a hybrid between human and a different "type" of human, the Stryderians. Stryderians are shadowy, sleek beings, warred with humans in the past, and eventually the two decided on breeding a mix to act as a sort of bridge between the two cultures. This rather insane decision faded from public knowledge, but still goes on in the background, happily ignored by most of society.
Zahr thinks he's just one of those unfortunate people deliberately bred, created to be strong, fast, and smart. The Stryderians think he's a fulfillment of prophecy. On a journey to another Stryderian clan, he hides his face and wears a collar that prevents him from talking and almost from breathing correctly (it's a Stryderian test). So, since I really like this character, I have something to keep me sane.
And while I'm doing him, I'll do another character to use my gold pen on, though I don't know who.

A wounded man shall say to his assailant: "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.
I hope you find the time to enjoy yourself this day.
